Apricots and almonds - classic Viognier!

A Viognier of intense power, character and zest; soft apricots and chamomile tea are followed by a rich palate and a bitter almond finish.  Wonderfully creamy and full in the mouth, silky and very fruity.

Viognier grapes from a small parcel of less than a hectare of old vines are picked at optimum ripeness - a decision made by Eric Monnin in consultation with the grower, to deliver rich, concentrated flavours.  Situated in the Pays Gard in the Languedoc, the vineyard is abundant with apricot trees that surround the vineyards, and which, like the vines benefit from the terroir and climatic conditions of the region.

Food Recommendations
Thai and Vietnamese dishes or strong cheeses such as Taleggio, Pont-l'Évêque and Roquefort.  Suitable for vegetarians & vegans.
