A wine of great character and presence.

In the history of this great House, this cuvée has for a long time been the symbol and flag-ship wine of Dom Brial.  Its racy character and strong personality make this wine a great ambassador for the wine-making tradition of the Roussillon.

The grapes come from old vines on the high terraces on the South side of the Corbières massif on very stony soil with low water reserves. The climate here is very dry with exceptional sunshine.

Each wine variety is elaborated separately, then blended and bred in oak barrels for 12 months, with final refining in bottles in air-conditioned cellars.

The elegant nose is of mature fruits, and evolves beautifully on notes of leather and undergrowth.  The mouth is full, robust and elegant with flavours of black fruits, offering a beautiful minerality and pleasant tannins.  An iconic win in every way.
