Grapes: 80% Syrah/Grenache; 20% Carignan/Mourvèdre
Appellation: Côtes de Roussillon Villages
In the history of this great "House", this cuvée has for a long time symbolised the type and quality of Dom Brial wines. It's racy character and firm personality makes this wine an ambassador for the traditional wine-making in the Roussillon.
After the wines have been carefully blended, the resultant wine is matured in oak for 12 months.
Powerful but elegant, the nose is of black fruits, slightly woody and offering a beautiful minerality. The palate is very full, round and velvety smooth with a long fruity finish. We highly recommend this great wine.
Good with roast beef, Coq-au-Vin, Steak, etc.
Awards: Médaille d'Or Concours des Grands Vins 2016 (Gold)
