Grapes: 100% Gros Manseng
Country/Region: France, Gascony
Dry and fresh with zippy grapefruit acidity.
A typical fresh style of Gros Manseng from Côtes de Gasgogne. Bright pale lemon with a zippy nose of grapefruit and flint. Dry with racey, refreshing acidity with a clean and zesty mouthfeel that lingers on the tongue. Ideal as a summer refresher or with fresh shellfish.
The first sip is bone dry, but it starts to become rounder and fuller with every sip after that. A really interesting wine.
We had it with a Chilli Noodle King Prawn stir fry, and we couldn't have chosen better.
