Style: Dry, full-bodied
A superb number the Italians would be proud of! This wine is a dry, full-bodied red with a deep and bright ruby red colour and a spicy nose of black cherries, ripe berries with a hint of vanilla from the oak ageing. The palate is warm, ripe and fruity with soft tannins. This wine is passed over the skins left from the Amarone production using the ancient Veronese technique of "ripasso", which enriches the structure and aroma of the Valpolicella, then aged in large oakbarrels.
A most impressive wine.
