Our wine list includes a collection of fine wines from notable wineries across the world, that provide excellent value.

We have a range of red wine, white wine and rosé wine to satisfy the tastes of even the biggest wine snob.

But wine snobs aren’t our target market.

Our mission is to make fine wine accessible and understandable for everyone.

So, if you’ve always wanted to understand more about the world of wine and are yet to uncover the joys of finding your favourite varieties and wine producers—you’re in the right place at Bon Cru.

And if you’re already enthusiastic about wine, we might be able to introduce you to a few bottles you haven’t come across before.

Why the name ‘Bon Cru’?

When the current owners acquired the business in 2021, it was called Affordable Wine.

It was a great name. But it only addressed part of what we do.

Yes, our wines are affordable. But they are also luxury, high-quality wines from some of the best vineyards in the world. And in some cases, they are quite rare finds.

The name also didn’t capture our desire to help wine enthusiasts grow the list of great wines they’ve sampled and help those who are new to wine to grow their knowledge.

So, we wanted to come up with a name that was more representative our what we stand for.

“Bon Cru” is a very loose translation for ‘good growth’ or ‘good vintage’ – which is what we’re all about. We’re passionate about great wine, and helping our customers grow their knowledge and experience of wine.

What to expect from our blog content?

Our blog is going to be our home for educational and inspirational content about wine.

It’s a jargon-free area and topics we’ll cover include, grape guides, wine across the world, wine and food pairings, top wine recommendations, best wines for different occasions, how to read wine labels, how to best serve different types of wine and many other topics.
