This wonderfully expressive Cabernet Sauvignon from the Western Cape comes from 25-year old vines which delivers flavoursome, concentrated fruit and ripe berries. With lovely varietal expression - taut and leafy but also brambly, bright and succulent. Full of berry fruits and a whiff of chocolate.  Rich cherry-stone aromas lead to a palate laden with cassis, a note of vanilla and warming wood-spice on the finish. This wine gives a generous and satisfying mouthful and the expected Cabernet tannins make it a wine to last.
