Picpoul de Pinet is often referred to as an alternative to Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand. Villa Blanche is no different and it is made in our favourite wine region, the Languedoc-Rousillon. Made in one of the sunniest vineyards in France where the cultural methods and vinification are natural and respectful of the environment. The long warm days and cool nights are the perfect environment for growing the grapes which make this wine.
A well balanced and fruit driven wine with excellent structure and mouth feel. Zesty and citrussy, with the characteristic "pique" on the lips (the Poule). Perfect with creamy mussels, pork or chicken in tasty sauces, fish paella or roast chicken.
