Grapes: 100% Sauvignon Blanc
Producer: Guillaume Létang
Country: Chile
The Sauvignon Blanc grapes for this wine are grown across three sites across Leyda and San Antonio, close to the town named after a legendary shipwreck, Las Cruces. The proximity of the vineyards to the Pacific Ocean and its fresh coastal breezes ensures grapes ripen slowly retaining their natural citrus flavours and freshness.
Sauvignon Blanc grapes in Leyda are some of the first to be harvested in Chile, before fermentation in stainless steel is followed by a couple of months on their fine lees which adds texture and depth.
The Sauvignon is a sensory delight, with intense aromas of pure pink grapefruit and peach. A beautifully refreshing Chilean Sauvignon Blanc which goes great with shellfish or with some good old fish and chips!
