From the Haute Vallée de L’Aude comes this Chardonnay with great citrus acidity
complimented perfectly with just the right amount of creamy texture from a small portion that sees oak.
Bright acidity gives way to green apple and brioche notes. Old oak barrels have added texture and given a toasted hazlenut twist. For those looking for a high qualtiy Chardonnay, this punches well above its weight.
Good with baked chicken with a creamy sauce, wild mushroom risotto or pasta with clams in white wine.
The 2015 vintage of this wine won a whole host of Awards in 2017 like IWC, Decanter World Wine and Sommelier Awards. Catavinium and IWSC. We have high hopes for this vintage in 2019.
