From the Hill of the Wild Boar.
At Beinn an Tuirc Distillery, in the lea of of Kintyre's highest hill, they produce small-batch hand distilled gin in their own copper still. The twelve botanicals used are a mixture of traditional and local, reflecting the contours and changing landscape of the wonderful peninsula.
Surprisingly fruity and floral - lemon and orange are rather pronounced, with orris playing a big part too. Herbaceous elements develop in the background, revolving around the sorrel and cassia. Did we say 'botanical'?!
Another small estate Scottish Gin made to the highest quality.
